Kevin Everett waived, cleared for long-term disability

The Buffalo Bills waived tight end Kevin Everett today. Everett was initially feared to be paralyzed from a violent collision in the first game last season. Weeks later, Everett showed significant progess walking into the Bills locker room to meet with teammates. This move clears Everett to receive long-term disability benefits which he would not have received if he was still on the Bills roster. Everett will also receive pension benefits.
Marvin Harrison Involved In Shooting

The normally quiet and reserved Marvin Harrison has been involved in a shooting in Philadelphia following a bar argument. Nobody has been charged in the shooting yet as police are waiting for witnesses to come forward.

NFL approves Pacman Jones trade to Cowboys

The Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys have reached a deal to send suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones to Dallas. In return, Tennessee got Dallas' fourth round pick in this year's draft and a sixth-round pick in next year. The deal also has provisions which will send a draft pick to Dallas in the event Jones is not re-instated or if he gets suspended again.
Dolphins sign Jake Long

The Miami Dolphins will use their first overall pick in Saturday's draft to select Michigan tackle Jake Long. Long signed a 5-year deal worth nearly $58 million, $30 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid NFL lineman.

The 2004 NFL draft turns out to have been a fairly good draft for QBs, with 5 of them having a significant impact on their teams up to this point. 2 of them have been Pro Bowlers, 2 have Super Bowl trophies, and 3 have made it to the playoffs. The 5 QBs of who we speak of are Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, J.P. Losman, and Matt Schaub. As of right now, who is the best QB? Who is the worst? When it's all said and done, how do you see them finishing?
